Cobie Smulders is a Canadian actress and former model, known for her roles as Robin Scherbatsky on the television series How I Met Your Mother and Maria Hill in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Smulders played Maria Hill in Joss Whedon’s 2012 film The Avengers. She reprised the role in the 2013 premiere of the television series Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and again in 2014’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier and has been announced to do so again in Avengers: Age of Ultron in 2015.
